Mobile application using augmented reality technology, prepared for the VII international conference “Ancient cultures of Mongolia and North China.”
Mobile application “Virtual Archeology” will allow visualizing 3D models of archaeological sites from the Images of the ancient cultures of the Siberian taiga booklet. Artifacts obtained in 2009-2011 during the field study of the Shivera Prospikhino ensemble belong to different historical periods from the late Neolithic to the developed Middle Ages and reflect images typical of the art of the population of the Central Siberian taiga.
Want to get to know the Griffin better? By pointing the smartphone camera at the image, you can study a 3D copy of the artifact you are interested in: rotate, zoom in and out, change the degree of illumination of the object.
