Since the park is located almost in the center of the mainland, at a great distance from the seas and oceans, the geography determined its climatic features, in particular, rather high temperatures with features of sharp continentality in the mountains and moderate ones on the plain part. In summer, the air temperature rises to + 40 ° C, in winter it drops to -50 ° C, little precipitation falls.
