The article gives examples of using the technology of augmented reality in projects aimed at preservation and popularization of historical and cultural heritage. The experience of implementing projects using various technical platforms such as web, Windows, and mobile platforms, as well as approaches to solving technical prob-lems that have arisen after the implementation of projects has been considered.
